What is the eligibility criteria for CAT exam?

To apply for CAT exam, you must have a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for reserved categories). You can also apply if you are in the final year of your graduation or awaiting results.

How can I register for CAT exam? +

You can register for CAT exam online through the official website https://iimcat.ac.in/. You will need to fill up the application form, upload your documents, pay the registration fee, and select your preferred test cities.

What is the syllabus and pattern of CAT exam? +

CAT exam consists of three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability (QA). Each section has 26 questions, out of which 18 are multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and 8 are non-MCQs. The total duration of the exam is 2 hours, with 40 minutes allotted for each section.
