RRB NTPC Exam 2022 - Notification

The Railway recruitment board has released the RRB NTPC Notification in 2019. As per the notification, there are 35000+ vacancies to be filled under Non-Technical Popular Categories, NTPC. RRB conducts RRB NTPC examination to recruit candidates for various Graduate and Non – Graduate posts. Online registration for RRB NTPC has been completed. The exam date for RRB NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Category) stage 1 exam has been conducted from 15th December 2020 onwards.

1. Today i.e. 10 March 2022 Railway Ministry has released a notice stating the exam date for the CBT Stage 2 for different pay levels, May 2022 For Pay Level 6 For Other Pay Levels To Be Conducted After Reasonable Gap.
2. 20 times unique candidates will be shortlisted with Pay Level wise for the 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) for CEN 01/2019 (NTPC).
3. The candidates already announced qualified will continue to remain qualified.
4. The list of additional candidates getting shortlisted will be notified at each Pay Level.
5. RRB wise 2nd Stage CBT for each Pay Level with all candidates of one RRB accommodated in a single shift which should eliminate normalization. Wherever single shift is not possible because of capacity constraints or otherwise, percentile-based normalization will be done.

RRB NTPC 2022 Exam Pattern

The recruitment process involves - 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), Typing Skill Test/Computer Based Aptitude Test (as applicable) and Document Verification/Medical Examination.

RRB NTPC 2022 CBT Stage I

The Questions will be of objective type with multiple choices.

Note: RRB NTPC 1st Stage CBT is common for all the notified posts.

There will be negative marking and a 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

RRB NTPC 2022 CBT Stage II

Separate 2nd Stage CBT shall be taken for each of the 7th CPC Level i.e. Level 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 with graded difficulty level. All posts falling within the same level of 7th CPC shall have a common 2nd stage CBT. If candidates are eligible for more than one level of 7th CPC posts as per their educational qualifications, they have to give common 1st stage CBT and corresponding 2nd stage CBT for each level of 7th CPC as per the table given in Para 13.6. of Official Notification.

Application Fees/ Intimation Charges

The Online Application fees for various categories is given below.

• UR & OBC- ₹500/- (₹400, out of the total fees of ₹500 shall be refunded after deducting the Bank Charges, on Appearing in First Stage CBT)
• SC / ST / Ex-Serviceman / PWDs / Female / Transgender / Minorities / Economically backward class - 250/- (The total fees of ₹250 shall be refunded after deducting the Bank Charges, on Appearing in First Stage CBT)
