The Govt-owned New India Assurance Company Limited (NIACL) conducts the NIACL AO exams to select candidates for Administrative Officer in Generalist and Specialist Cadre. Recruitment for Administrative Posts is done for two categories – NIACL AO Generalist and NIACL AO Specialist. NIACL AO is not an annual exam; vacancies are decided by the conducting body depending on the requirements.

The New India Assurance Company Limited has announced 300 vacancies for the post of Administrative Officer – AO (Generalists) in various disciplines. The online applications will start from 1st – 21st September 2021.

The NIACL AO 2021 Recruitment has 3 phases:
Phase 1 – Prelims Exam (Objective Test)
Phase 2 – Main Exam (Objective and Descriptive Test)

Candidates have to qualify for each test/section by securing passing marks to be decided by the Company.
The Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Tests for 30 marks. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online. Candidates will have to answer the Descriptive Test by typing on the computer.

Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score for each section of the objective test separately for shortlisting for the Descriptive test evaluation/Interview. Descriptive answer script would be evaluated only in respect of those candidates who qualify for the objective test.
Candidates who have been shortlisted at the end of Phase-II will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Company. The interview will be conducted at select centers. The weightage (ratio) of Online examinations and interviews will be 80:20 respectively.

On submission of your mock test, your score and All-India rank would be immediately generated. The All India ranking is dynamic in nature and it would change as more users attempt that mock test.
A test can be attempted only once. However, you can review the solutions and analysis of the attempted tests as many times as you want.
If you get disconnected while attempting a test, all your data till the disconnection will get saved and you will be able to resume from the same state later. You are advised to close the test window in this case and resume when you have connectivity again.
No, you may attempt and view analysis/solution of that test on any date and time till the validity as per your convenience.
Tests are provided either in English or in both English and Hindi. For a particular test, you may check the languages it is available in while purchasing the package.
The test package is valid till 30 April, 2022.
