(a) The Age Limit For different ESIC posts are as follows:
(b) Upper age limit is relaxable for persons belonging to reserved categories e. SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-Servicemen and for ESIC Employees, Government Servants as under:

The candidates who qualify in Mains Exam will have to appear in the skill test which is qualifying in nature. The candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English or Hindi (as opted by the candidates in the Online Application Form) at the speed of 80 words per minute.

There are two stages of written tests in the selection process for ESIC MTS positions. Applicants who pay the application fee and have submitted their applications on time will be allowed to take the written tests.

Phase – I Preliminary Examination is qualifying in nature and marks will not be reckoned for final merit. For each wrong answer, there will be a negative marking of one-fourth of the mark assigned to that question. The candidates will be shortlisted for Phase II in the ratio of 1:10 i.e. about 10 times the number of vacancies in each category on the basis of their performance in Phase-I – Preliminary Examination

For applying as Upper Divisional Clerk of the Employee State Insurance Corporation, a candidate has to hold an undergraduate degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university. Additionally, the candidate should possess strong knowledge pertaining to the modus operandi of computers, taking account of databases and Office suites.
For candidates belonging to the category of female/SC/ST/departmental/ex-servicemen, the application fee is INR 250. For candidates belonging to other categories, the application fee is INR 500.
For recruitment as Upper Divisional Clerk of the Employee State Insurance Corporation, the minimum age is 18 years.
