There are 3 stages in this exam's recruitment which are below:
Railway Administration reserves the right to conduct the CBT in either single or multi-stage mode. Candidates qualifying in the CBT shall have to undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET). It will be followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination. There shall be a negative marking for 1/3rd marks for each wrong answer.

The basic salary of RRB Group D is Rs 18,000. The selected candidates will also be provided with other allowances including Dearness Allowance (DA), Daily Allowance, Transport Allowance, House Rent Allowance (HRA), Allowance for Night Duty, Medical Facilities, Overtime Allowance etc. The in-hand salary of RRB Group Posts is Rs. 22,500-Rs.25,380 per month.
The Online Registration for Railway RRB Group D Recruitment Exam was started on March 12, 2019. The last date for the RRB Group D Level 1 Recruitment Process Online Application was April 12, 2019.
The candidates who had completed their High School (Class 10) from an institution recognized by NCVT/SCVT or held National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) provided by NCVT are eligible to apply for RRB Group D Recruitment Exam.
The candidates who fall in the age group of 18 to 33 years are eligible to apply for RRB Group D exam. Age relaxation is provided as per the norms.

Around 1,03,769 vacancies have been declared by the RRB in the official notification of RRB Group D 2020-21 Exam.
The candidate must be between 18 yrs to 33 yrs of age as on 01.07.2019. Age relaxation has also been given in the upper age limit for different reserved categories
The application fees for Gen and OBC is Rs.500 and for all other categories, it is Rs.250.
