Staff Selection Commission of India (SSC), will release the latest SSC MTS 2024 Recruitment Notification on the official website ie, https://ssc.nic.in/.As per the Notification PDF, The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold a competitive examination for recruitment of Multi Tasking Staff (in Pay Level- 1 as per Pay Matrix of 7th Pay Commission), a General Central Service Group ‘C' Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India, in different States/ Union Territories.
As per SSC MTS 2024 notification, there will be of both MTS and Havaldar posts. Candidate must have passed 10th and must have an age between 18-27. As per SSC 2024 calendar, the exam will be conducted in October- November 2024. SSC MTS 2024 notification includes all the detailed information like important dates, exam patterns, eligibility criteria, syllabus, selection process, etc.

It is important for candidates who are going to appear in the SSC MTS exam to know about the SSC MTS Selection Process. Candidates must be aware of the different stages of the SSC MTS selection process so that they can prepare effectively. There are two stages in SSC MTS 2024 Selection Process: They are as follows:
Stage 1- Paper-1 Computer-Based Test (CBT)
Stage 2- Physical Efficiency Test / Physical Standard Test (PET/PST): For Havaldar posts in CBIC and CBN
Candidates are required to appear for the SSC MTS Written Test and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The SSC MTS PET is compulsory only for the post of Havaldar.

As per SSC MTS 2024 Notification the candidate must have passed matriculation or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
For SSC MTS 2024 Exam the candidates must be either:
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India
SSC MTS 2024 computer-based exam (CBT) will be held in "15 languages" and the candidates can choose any language at the time of filling out the application form.

SSC MTS 2023 Syllabus has 4 sections which include Reasoning Ability, Numerical Aptitude, English Language, and General Awareness. If you are preparing for SSC MTS Exam, you must be aware of the syllabus in detail. Let's have a look at the Syllabus
SSC MTS Computer-Based Examination will be conducted in two Sessions: Session-I and Session-II, on the same day and both Sessions will be mandatory to be attempted. Not attempting any session will disqualify the candidate. Questions on General Intelligence and Reasoning will be non-verbal considering the functions attached to the post. Questions on Numerical Aptitude and General English will be simple, of a level that an average matriculate will be in a position to answer comfortably. Questions on General Awareness will also be of a similar standard.
Candidates' understanding of the basics of the English Language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms, correct usage, etc. and to test comprehension, a simple paragraph may be given and a question based on the paragraph to be asked.
The questions in this part intend to measure the candidates' general learning ability. The questions will be broadly based on Alpha-Numeric Series, Coding and Decoding, Analogy, Following Directions, Similarities and Differences, Jumbling, Problem Solving and Analysis, Non- verbal Reasoning based on diagrams, Age Calculations, Calendar, and Clock, etc.
It will include questions on problems relating to Integers and Whole Numbers, LCM and HCF, Decimals and Fractions, Relationships between numbers, Fundamental Arithmetic Operations and BODMAS, Percentages, Ratio and Proportions, Work and Time, Direct and inverse Proportions, Averages, Simple Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Area and Perimeter of Basic Geometric Figures, Distance and Time, Lines and Angles, Interpretation of simple Graphs and Data, Square, and Square roots, etc.
The broad coverage of the test will be on Social Studies (History, Geography, Art and Culture, Civics, Economics), General Science, and Environmental studies up to the 10th Standard.

The process of filling online application for the SSC MTS examination consists of two parts:

For SSC MTS 2024 Tier 1, the Admit Card for all regions has been released. The exam for the year 2024 will be held in July- August 2024. The SSC MTS exam is conducted to recruit for General Central Service Group ‘C' Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial posts in various Central Government Ministries / Departments / Offices, in different States/ Union Territories.
SSC MTS 2024 Admit card will be released by Staff Selection Commission. The Admit Card for Tier 1 exam for each Region is available for all who have applied for SSC MTS 2024 Exam. The Candidate can download the Admit Card by login to the SSC official website. At the time of login, the candidate needs the Registration Number/Roll Number and the Password/D.O.B.

Step 2: Click on the link available for downloading the SSC MTS Admit Card 2024 of your Region.
Step 3: Enter your credentials like Registration Number/Roll Number and D.O.B/ password to procure the admit card.
Step 4: Select the preferred Area/City which you entered at the time of applying for the SSC MTS 2024 Exam.
Step 5: Click on the Search Now Button.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold a competitive examination for recruitment of Multi Tasking Staff in Pay Band-1 (Rs 5200-20200) + Grade Pay Rs 1800, (Revised Pay Scale after 7th CPC: Pay Level in Pay Matrix – Level-1), a General Central Service Group C Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India, in different States/ Union Territories.
