RBI Grade B 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Age Limits
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on May 01, 2023 i.e., he/she must have been born not earlier than May 02, 1993 and not later than May 01, 2002.
Relaxation in Age Limit:
- Up to 2 Years for M.Phil. Candidates and 4 Years for Ph.D. candidates
- Up to 3 years for OBC candidates or Non-Creamy Layer
- Up to 5 years for SC/ST candidates
- Up to 10 years for PwBD (UR), 13 years for PwBD (Person with Benchmark Disability) for OBC, and 15 years for PwBD (Person with Benchmark Disability) for SC/ST
Note: A candidate who has experience as an officer in commercial banks/financial institutions (Public Sector) may claim a maximum of 3-years of relaxation, excluding probation period.
Minimum Education Qualification
Officers in Grade ‘B' (DR) – (General): An interested applicant must be a Graduate in any discipline or must have an Equivalent technical or professional qualification with a minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) or a Post-Graduate or have an Equivalent technical qualification with a minimum of 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) in aggregate of all semesters or years.
Maximum Number of Attempts
Candidates belonging to General Category/EWSs, who have already appeared Six times for Phase-I Examination for this post/s in the past, are not eligible to apply. No such restriction applies to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwBD, if the posts are reserved for them.
