Step 8: Pay the prescribed application fee. The fee amount varies based on the category and the examination. The payment can be made through debit card, credit card, and UPI modes.

Step 9: Preview & Click on the Submit button.

Step 10: After Submitting the Form, Take a printout for future reference.

UPSC CSAT 2024 Fees Structure

The candidate must be aware of both the UPSC fee structure. The UPSC fee can vary depending on the category of the candidate. The fees for the UPSC CSAT 2024 are as follows:

• Once the payment is made, it cannot be refunded.

UPSC CSAT 2024 Selection Process

UPSC CSAT assesses a candidate’s analytical and decision-making abilities and a general studies paper. Candidates have to score at least 33% on the CSAT to proceed to the next stage. There are no pass or fail criteria in UPSC CSAT Exam. Candidates move on to the next round of the selection process, which is the Mains exam, after passing the UPSC CSAT 2024. The UPSC CSAT 2024 Eligibility criteria based on nationality or citizenship are as follows: 

1. For the Indian Administrative Service, the Indian Foreign Service, and the Indian Police Service, a candidate must be a citizen of India.
2. For other services, a candidate must be:—

• a citizen of India, or
• a subject of Nepal, or
• a subject of Bhutan, or
• a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 to permanently settle in India, or
• a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.

UPSC CSAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria Age Limit

To be eligible for the UPSC CSAT Exam, There are some minimum and maximum age limits. As per the official notification, the UPSC CSAT Eligibility criteria based on the age limit are as follows. 

Note: The candidate must have been born between August 2, 1992, and August 1, 2003, meaning that on August 1, 2024, they cannot have become older than 32 years old.

UPSC CSAT 2024 Educational Qualification

As per the UPSC official notification 2024, there are certain eligibility criteria based on the candidate’s qualifications, age limit, and nationality. Candidates have to meet these three eligibility requirements to appear in the UPSC CSAT Exam. A relevant bachelor’s/master’s degree from a recognized college/university is necessary to sit for the exam. • The nature of the question will be objective type
• For every Correct answer, the candidate will get 2.5 marks.
• For every Incorrect answer, One-third mark will be deducted i.e. 0.83 Mark.
