Overall Strategy, Study Schedule & Challenges Faced
“DREAM, PLAN AND CONQUER” that was my success mantra.
Each and every competitive exam demands focus, dedication and proper strategy. You need to be consistent without any excuses. You have to prove your metal and standout as a special individual from the masses. Everyone is working hard so ask yourself what different you are doing from others. I was working while my preparation was going on. I used to study for three to four hours daily.
- 6:30 am to 8:00 am – Aptitude/Reasoning
- 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm – GK/CA
- 9:00 pm to 10:00 – Banking awareness/Computer awareness
- 10:00 pm to 11:00 pm – English (video/mock)
Before 20 days of my exam I used to change my schedule.
- 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm – mock
- 9:30 pm to 11:00 pm – GK/CA/Banking awareness
- 6:30 am to 8:00 am – mock analysis.
I was working in an an University as a trainer. This was not a hurdle for me, I would rather say this as my RESPONSIBILITY ๐. There were no fixed schedule. It was a 9:30 to 5:00 job on paper but the ground reality was different. Regularly I had to stay till 6:45 or 7:00 pm. During peak placement seasons I used to work till 9:00 pm or more. The job was tiring but it was nothing in comparison to the happiness I was getting in return. I feel happy to help my students so I enjoyed my journey as a trainer. To get into banking sector was my top priority so I kept myself motivated throughout my journey. I stayed positive as I had no other options left ๐. Finally I have made my parents proud.
