Which exams did you appear in till date and what were their results?

I gave IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk & RRB PO in 2020, I cleared all the pre and appeared for the interview of RRB in my 1st attempt itself but couldn’t made it to the final list by 1.5 marks. In 2021, I got selected for both IBPS PO and RRB PO.

English Section Preparation Strategy

I was good in english but i used to do silly mistakes, which results to negative marking in mocks. To improve this- 1. I started to read english newspaper & novels carefully and concentrate on sentence forming.

2. At the time of mock analysis, whenever I found a new word and idioms, I used to write it in my notebook and revise it every week, especially before the D day.

3. I made a notebook in which I wrote new Grammer rules which I found in mocks & revise it every now and then. This strategy worked like magic for me.

Quantitative Aptitude Section Preparation Strategy

My quant was not good (below average). When I started my preparation I can barely attempt 8/35 questions in pre mocks but I work on my concepts clarity, practiced a lot with timer and end up attempting 32+ questions in my final pre exam.

Reasoning Section Preparation Strategy

My Reasoning section was always good. I only worked on my speed and used to score 35/35.

General Awareness Section Preparation Strategy

I prepare daily CA from Affairs cloud, make digital notes and revise them on weekly basis. I practiced a lot from PM’s weekly CA quizzes.

I prepare notes from Adda247 computer awareness ebook and used to update/add on lot of information from mocks. I think mocks are the best source for Computer awareness preparation.

Overall Strategy, Study Schedule & Challenges Faced

I used to make to do list at night for the next day. To do list helps you to do structured and focused study. I always prepare for mains before my pre exam and gave 1 whole month to attempt lots of pre mocks before my pre exam. Hurdles are very important part of your life. Face the challenges and you will definitely lean something from it. So don’t call them Hurdles rather call them your teachers of life.
