I started preparing for banking exams right after the completion of my graduation that is in Aug 2019.In the beginning I was completely clueless about the process. So I went through toppers videos In the YouTube. Then I realised that mocks play vital role in the selection process.. Then I cleared all the basics from YouTube . And regularly I used to give mocks. In the span of 5 6 month I was able to clear the 1st prelims that is Sbi clerk 2020 .but due to lack of practice for mains I could not Clear it. Then I prepared for both prelims and mains simultaneously …and everything went so smoothly thereafter…

The exams I appeared till now are:

• SBI CLERK 2020(failed in mains )
• SBI PO 2020 (failed in mains)
• RRB PO 2020(prelims-58;failed)
• RRB CLERK (prelims -76.75;failed )
• IBPS PO (CLEARED)
• IBPS CLERK(Failed in mains )

Section-wise Preparation Strategy

English Section Preparation Strategy

Like many of the aspirants ,English was my weak subject. So I started giving extra time to this subject . I used to read THE HINDU editorial for half n hour Then i used to jot down all the vocabs. For this I followed VISHAL SIR Then I prepared the basic grammar rules from NIMISHA BANSAL MA’AM .it really improved my English scores … And again mocks ….

Quantitative Aptitude Section Preparation Strategy

It was my favourite subject. I cleared the basics from SUMIT SIR AND ASHISH ARORA SIR. My accuracy was good because I had cleared the basics thoroughly .but the exam requires speed as well which comes with a lot of practice . I practised prelims and higher level ques simultaneously …. So I used to give sectional mocks daily and used to analyse it .. In this way I was able to score well in this section.

Reasoning Section Preparation Strategy

Reasoning is all about mental ability ..U have to Stay calm and focus while solving puzzles . I used to solve 10 . and 2 or 3 mains level puzzles daily with timer .. In the beginning u will feel you r too slow bit with time you will be able to match the timings … I practised the miscellaneous ques from ankush lamba sir.

General Awareness Section Preparation Strategy

I followed AFFAIRS cloud ,Adda,Studyiq for this .. I prepared 5 month current affairs before the exam And revised 3 times at least . Here proper revision matters the most .because in mains it is the scoring part.

Computer Awareness Section Preparation Strategy

In IBPS exams ;now a days ques are not coming from this particular section . So I did not prepare for this section .

Overall Strategy, Study Schedule & Challenges Faced

I did not follow a proper time table for this . Rather I used to set daily targets and tried to complete it before going to bed . I gave proper time to all of the subjects daily . And mocks!!!daily one prelims mock and 1wk before the prelims 2 mocks a day .. For mains u just need to practice higher level ques from mocks …

Challenges !!!Yes ….These r part and parcel of any journey. Sometimes u will sometimes u learn . In the beginning when I was not able to score well in mocks And could not Clear the xms it was really demotivating but we can not waste time . So from that next day only I used to give my 1000%to my preparation . So this never give up attitude helped me a lot.
