This is the success story of Shreyansh who has cleared both RRB PO & RRB Clerk exams. As far as his exam preparation journey is corncened he started his journey in the year 2023. He quit his job to prepare for the banking exam as he wasn’t getting much time to study because of his work. He then completed all his syllabus and then he started practicing mocks. He cleared his exam in the very first attempt. He has given many exams and with his dedication and hardwork he finally cleared both RRB PO & Clerk. Below mentioned is his detailed exam strategy and his success journey.

I started my preparation journey in January 2023. Since i was already working in IT Wipro, I had around 4 hours to study in a day. Soon i realised i have to quit for exam so, i resigned from my position in company in april and served 3 month notice period and during my notice period i used to study around 5-6 hours because of less work. Then from july onwards when exam was around 1 month away and my syllabus and practice were all done, i started mock and tried strategies and by grace of god i cleared my exam in the first attempt.
I did not face much difficulty in English as I am an English medium student. I followed nimisha bansal ma’am mostly and completed 120 rules and attended her perfection series. I attended santosh sir’s practice sessions from adda YouTube channel. I used to read books around 20 mins per day and for vocabulary I followed editorial vocabulary.
I completed syllabus from Ashish Arora sir’s unacademy playlist. After that i practiced along side harshal sir learning capsules, kaushik Mohanty sir career definer, yashraj sir and arun sir. I watched their videos, learned their techniques and took best from them combined to my methods and i was good to go and was almost as effective as them. Sectional and topic tests are a must.
Note :- No live class only recorded and quizzes.

I have always been weak in reasoning but hopefully ankush lamba sir in puzzles and inequality, puneet sir in coding decoding and machine input output, sanjay sir in critical reasoning and saurav sir in syllogism helped me. After completing syllabus i used to attend any of the above teacher’s any video to practice in lecture. Sectional tests are must for Practice. Note: I never attended live class, it’s waste of time according to me.
Well i followed 3 teachers YouTube and capsule pdfs from PM and other sources as well. One thing i learnt never depend on one source for GA. Always look for more. My picks were Ashish Gautam sir from adda247 for daily video, Kush pandey sir from yes officer for weekly videos and sheetal sharma ma’am from oliveboard for all her revision classes.
I read pdf written notes along with the question MCQ videos in YouTube.
To be honest i had no schedule. I always followed a targeted approach. I used to give myself some targets of around 12 hours which i could never complete after sometime and then realised that it is of no good and it is decreasing my productivity. Later I discounted that time to 7-8 hours target of every subject as per demand and after completing those targets i am done for the day.
Yes i was always hopeless after giving exam because i never performed the same in exam as i did in the mocks. In the exam centre you have a different atmosphere so you have to be prepared to get -5 from your mock score to the actual score. And even after not performing par from my expectations i controlled myself and studied hard again from the next day.
Yes, I had mock subscription from practicemock along with other mock series also. PracticeMock provide free quizzes and i completed almost 50-60% of those which made me comfortable with the timer and then i moved to the full mocks.
Be consistent and work on your weaknesses, always be strong and have faith in god and most important be confident. You will face some hard days but, don’t get upset, sometimes it’s not your day always try to be happy, if you feel not studying some day don’t push yourself take a day off and next day get yourself together and work hard again. You will get there very soon never lose hope and do hardwork consistently.
This brings us to the end of the article. We sincerly hope that these success stories keep motivating you at all times so that you keep working hard to achieve your goal of clearing these competitive exams.
