1. Please brief us on when did you start preparing for the competitive exams and how was your preparation journey.
From 2022 I started preparing for competitive exams. Earlier, I had been preparing for banking exams. After losing my patience in that field I switched to SSC and started my journey after completing my Masters. I dedicatedly move into this field in January 2024.
2. Which exams did you appear in till date and what were their results?
Before entering into the SSC field, I appeared in several banking and other exams. Since January 2024, I have appeared in the SSC Selection Post, CHSL, CGL, and MTS exams.
I have secured AIR 3358 in CGL and was selected as CGST INSPECTOR, I also have secured AIR 5045 in the MTS exam and was selected for a position in Income tax, Ahmedabad.
3. How did you prepare for the English section?
I studied English through offline resources and free online content. I also practiced with mock tests to improve accuracy and comprehension.
4. How did you prepare for the Quantitative Aptitude section?
I built my foundation first and practiced daily with topic-wise questions and full-length mocks.
5. How did you prepare for the Reasoning section?
I followed online videos and practiced through mock tests and previous year questions provided by PracticeMock.
6. What was your strategy for the General Awareness section? (If Applicable)
I referred to online GA content and made regular revisions. Daily quizzes were very helpful.
7. What was your overall strategy? Did you follow a study schedule? If yes, please share the details.
Firstly, I completed the syllabus from the respective teachers, then attempted several mocks from several platforms, and attempted all the PYQs. Then, I found out my weak areas and worked on them. Consistently 7-9 hours of study is sufficient to crack the exams on 1st attempt.
8. Did you face any hurdles as well? How did you overcome it?
Low marks in Mocks, Silly mistakes in exams, outside talks of people, etc. are all common hurdles that every aspirant has to deal with. I always took those hurdles as my challenges and tried to learn from them and then gave my best in the final exam.

Yes, I subscribed to PracticeMock and regularly attempted their weekly live mocks. They helped a lot in improving my speed and exam strategy.
