Success Story of Saran R – Cleared IBPS PO 2020

Hi friends my name is Saran Ravichandran and I cleared IBPS PO 2020. I am hereby sharing my success story with PracticeMock who has helped me a lot in clearing this examination lately. I started preparing in the corona lockdown ,to be clear from August 2020. I was learning shortcuts and speed solving from youtube videos and practicing mock test. My friend suggested PracticeMock to write mock. I bought and gave the test it helped me to understand the exams.

I appeared for IBPS PO,CLERK ,RRB PO,CLERK and SBI PO. I didn’t clear prelims for ibps clerk, rrb po and clerk. I cleared IBPS and SBI PO prelims. I cleared mains in IBPS PO and attended the interview and got selected in Canara Bank as PO on my first attempt.

I didn’t do any preparations for it. Just gave some mock tests.

Quantitative Aptitude Section Preparation Strategy

I watched youtube videos and prepared a notes for all the topics like boats and streams, trains etc. and practiced mock exams. Before exams I give a glance to my notes.

Reasoning Section Preparation Strategy

I practiced mock exams and studied in youtube for faster solving and go through the answers.

General Awareness Section Preparation Strategy

To be frank I didn’t study general awareness just my luck and some background knowledge when preparing for my state exams.

My strategy was to focus on my strengths. My strengths were Aptitude , Reasoning and English. I practiced more and more on aptitude and reasoning so that I can score more in these sections. I didn’t follow any schedule gave 2 mock tests a day and go through the right one for any shortcut, studied wrong ones and gave a glance on unattended. I face some demotivation when the results wasn’t positive and lose hope. But I regained it when positive results and gave hardwork for it.
