SBI Clerk mains 2021 free mock test
Hi friends, I am Naveen Chauhan and here I am to tell you my success story. I have pursued my graduation degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2015. I reside in a city named Hisar in Haryana. I started preparing for banking exams in 2016. It was full of ups and downs with also full of criticism.
I appeared in almost every banking exam, but couldn’t qualify even in single pre till 2018. Since 2018 I qualified all the Pre for banking exams. The exams I gave and their corresponding results are given below.
IBPS PO- Given 3 interviews (including recent one) and final list out in 2018, 2019 besides having 17 and 18 marks more than the cutoff in mains. Finally selected in IBPS PO 2020-21 in ‘Bank of India’ under Unreserved Category. IBPS Clerk– Given 3 mains since 2018 but couldn’t qualify 2018, 2019’s mains. Finally cleared IBPS Clerk 2020-21 and got ‘Canara Bank’ under Unreserved Category. SBI PO– Gave 2 mains since 2019 but couldn’t qualify in 2019 mains, but has given SBI PO 2020-21 Mains and Interview but couldn’t find my roll no. in final selection list. SBI Clerk- Gave 3 mains since 2018 but couldn’t qualify in mains.
English Section Preparation Strategy
English was the strongest part for me. I love reading novels, watching tv series on HBO & Netflix and also like reading editorials and cartoon section in ‘The Hindu Newspaper’. But for the candidates who find English hard, I suggest them to read anything you like it can be your favorite blog, magazine etc., because banking demands for your reading skills. Then you can give sectional mocks of PracticeMock, I found them good for practice.
Quantitative Aptitude Section Preparation Strategy
My Quantitative Aptitude skills were average. Because banking demands mental calculations, so I watched mental math videos and for that I found Unacademy useful. Aashish Sir on Unacademy teaches well. If you can’t afford the subscription you can opt for Youtube videos also. Aashish sir’s Youtube channel and Amar sir’s Youtube channel is good for practice. After brushing up the basics I practiced from Quantum CAT by Sarvesh kumar verma, Ace Quantitative Aptitude by Bankersadda and free practice sheets of Government Adda. Also you have to practice good amounts of DI for Pre and Mains, for that watch videos of Amar Sir’s Youtube Channel and Aashish Sir’s Youtube channel and practice lots of DI and different types of DI.

Reasoning Section Preparation Strategy
Firstly I brushed up my basics and also used Unacademy subscription, there I watched Ankush Lamba Sir’s videos. You can also join his Youtube channel also. After brushing up the basics I practiced lots of puzzles and sitting arrangements’ questions. I also practiced Critical Reasoning for mains which helped me a lot because many people leave critical reasoning questions but in mains critical reasoning can fetch you good marks. Then I gave sectional mocks of reasoning on practiceMock.
General Awareness Section Preparation Strategy
For GA I searched many sources and then I finally started watching daily videos of Gaurav Garg Sir’s study IQ and also downloaded pdf’s of the same for revision purpose. I revised from Gradeup’s monthly capsules. If you want to study extensively for GA then follow affairs cloud if you have lots of time to devote for GA. Finally I quickly revised from practicemock’s best 500 hundred current affairs news pdf.
I did not follow a proper schedule since I gave tuitions to school students for financial help thus preparation time kept changing. Teaching can improve your mindset, for me it kept busy my mind and not letting it do overthinking. But I gave time to all section of exams but mostly to the Quantitative Aptitude and solved as many questions as possible. I faced lots of criticism from people during my preparation but the foremost hurdle you have to leap is your own. You have to keep telling your mind that yes! I can do it and I will do it. I did it by keeping me busy with different type of activities like reading novels, running, yoga and meditation with preparing for the exam.
SBI Clerk mains 2021 free mock test
PracticeMock helped me a lot in this journey. I gave quizzes, sectional mocks and complete mocks of PracticeMock for pre and mains. I found every mock excellent and up to the exam level. Mocks keep upgrading as per exam levels which is good in PracticeMock.
To the fellow aspirants I would say that you have to tell your mind that you will not give up. Just tell your mind let the people throw stones at you, you have to keep collecting those stones and build your dream fort with them. In the long run it is only you who can push yourself towards the success. Just keep practicing, keep doing your work and time will come when you see your name in the final selection list. Be nice to your parents and everyone around you. Your parents and your siblings are the only one who will support you at any cost. I thank my parents (specially my mom who always prayed for my success) and my younger brother Himanshu who supported me through out every exam. I also thank my friends who supported me during my preparation journey. Thank you all the readers for reading my post.
This is what Naveen Chauhan has to say regarding his success. Keep practicing the way he did and keep preparing for upcoming exams.
