I began my preparation with PM free quizess for all sections. I have almost solved all free quizzes of prelims puzzle available. Along with that I also solved Quants and English free quizess… After completing free quizzes I decided to give PM paid mocks of previous years and then went on to give the current mocks too. The specialty of PM is hidden in the framing of their questions. The puzzle section is tougher than what is asked in exam so it helps aspirants in getting ready even for worst case scenarios . The English section gave me confidence as I knew that if I excell at PM English section, I will easily excell in exam too. The most beautiful part which very people know about PM is the free GA quizzes. It’s wonderful. It’s crisp and I chose its quizzes for last minute revision. I would thank PM mocks for helping me clear SBI PO exam. I would ask aspirants to use PM mock and get exposure to latest pattern of questions.
I appeared in RRB Clerk, RRP PO, SBI PO and IBPS PO. I cleared RRB Clerk and SBI PO
1. I began with PM free English quizzes. They have got different sections like RC, Grammar error detection, Cloze Test… So I used to give such quizzes.
2. There is also sectional mains English for different exams, I have given all sectional English mocks for SBI PO and IBPS PO.. Rest of my English preparation came from full mocks of PM
3. I also used Merrium Webster Dictionary in my English prepation.
I Solved Speed maths quizzes freely available on PM. Solving Quadratic, Simplification and Approximation and Number series. There is separate quiz for arithmetic section too. So I have solved lot of quizzes of arithmetic too. For DI I have relied mostly on PM full mocks. For mains I gave sectional PM mocks of IBPS PO and SBI PO. The quality of questions are above than what is asked in exam and it helped me to prepare for even the worst case scenario
As mentioned before, I Solved miscellaneous questions from PM free quizzes. And Puzzles from it’s free quizzes. I have almost solved all its free quizzes. The rest of reasoning I prepared from paid full mock of PM.
For that I used to read Business Standard, and read weekly affairscloud pdf. I used to cover Govt Schmes, Banking news as my priority. For final revision before exam I have used PM free weekly quizzes.
I had used Sachin Arora Course for Computer.
YES since I was a beginner I first completed my syllabus and solved at least 15-20 Puzzles on daily basis for 4 months. I then shifted to full mocks and tried to work on my question selection skills. I had reserved Saturday and Sunday for Mains mocks and it’s analysis.
I used to make lot of silly mistakes in beginning. In Puzzles I used to misread or write conditions incorrectly. To overcome that I made self notes of silly errors that I generally make and tried to not repeat then while solving other questions. My percentile used to low in beginning but I never compared myself and relied more on improving myself… Slowly my percentile reached around 80-90 percentile. So Patience is key. Keep improving yourself, with time Percentile will also improve.
Yes, 100 %. I took an edge in English section primarily due to PM quizzes and their mocks. And final GA quizzes of PM helped me recall current news quickly before exam. Their questions are same either in free or paid quizzes. In paid ones one gets latest updates questions but the free ones are no less than paid ones. So I would thank PM that they have maintained consistency in quality of questions.
1. Be cool and calm while giving mock as well as giving exam.
2. Don’t put lot of pressure on yourself about reaching good percentile too quickly it comes with time. Have patience.
3. Work on your weak zones early.
4. Less is more. Have limited resources and use them
This brings us to the end of the article. We sincerly hope that these success stories keep motivating you at all times so that you keep working hard to achieve your goal of clearing these competitive exams.
