So, let’s know how he planned his journey of clearing these exams by reading his success story below.
IBPS Clerk Prelims free mock test 2021
I was giving exams from August 2018, but started seriously preparing for the IBPS exams in May 2019. I was working in IT sector by then for 4 months. It was enough time for me to judge what exactly I wanted to do with my life and IT was definitely not it. I started appearing for IBPS exams without any such hardcore preparation (rather couldn’t do hardcore preparation due to time crunch) After failing many prelims , I cleared LIC ADO prelims. This was the much needed confidence boost for me. My seniors was used to encourage me by telling “you just have to qualify one pre, after that automatically rest of the pre exams will be cracked.” From here I started to fail in Mains exams. I failed:-
1)LIC ADO MAINS
2)LIC ASSISTANT MAINS
3)IBPS CLERK MAINS
4)passed IBPS PO MAINS but not selected after final interview due to less marks margin in mains
5)SBI CLERK MAINS
6)SBI PO (INTERVIEW OUT BY 0.8 )
In between these failures some kind soul suggested me “PracticeMock”. This is where my game changed. I started attempting their mocks. I could attempt relatively less number of mocks due to time crunch. I prepared CA from their suggested source and gave PracticeMock mini mocks and CA quiz (which actually helped me in remembering what I read in the pdf of Affairscloud). Finally got selected as PO IN CANARA BANK and CLERK IN PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK from West Bengal in GENERAL CATEGORY.
Exams in which I couldn’t qualify PRE:-
Exams in which I qualified PRE but couldn’t clear mains
Exams which I qualified both pre and mains but couldn’t get into final list due to less marks in mains (1) IBPS PO 2019( INTERVIEW-65/100; MISSED FINAL CUTOFF BY 2.5 MARKS) (2) SBI PO 2020(INTERVIEW- 43/50; MISSED FINAL CUTOFF BY 0.8 MARKS)
EXAMS IN WHICH I finally qualified (1) IBPS PO 2020 ( INTERVIEW:- 70/100; FINAL SCORE 48.98/100)-Canara Bank po (2)IBPS CLERK 2020:- (WEST BENGAL -47.13/100 )- PNB Clerk.

English Section Preparation Strategy
I did not prepare this section exclusively. I depended upon mock tests and I am an avid reader and I have a good knowledge of english language from school level. So I didn’t have to spare time exclusively to this section. I have score 30/30 in both ibps po pre and ibps clerk pre.
Quantitative Aptitude Section Preparation Strategy
I solely depended upon mock test question. Once my concepts were clear I used to give mini mocks and full length mocks. Youtube channels also helped in clearing concepts. Basically self study is main.
Reasoning Section Preparation Strategy
This section was out of my forte. I didn’t attempt a single puzzle in mains exams be it in actual exam or mock test. I relied solely on other type of questions. It was my strategy to maximize accuracy in this section .
General Awareness Section Preparation Strategy
I took practicemock suggested Affairscloud . I read their weekly pdf and attempted Practice Mock weekly quizzes (only available in app). I did this for 3 times for each month minimum. I also attempted GA questions of the mocks just by submitting them(if time was less). Revision is key to this section. I scored good marks in this section in both ibps po and ibps ckerk.
My strategy was to ‘NOT QUIT’ . I COULDN’T follow a schedule or routine as I am not that kind of a person. I knew my weak points very well and thus did not need a routine for practicing on daily basis. I used to give mocks , mini mocks or CA quiz till my last drop of energy. So I never felt the need of a routine. With my IT job, a routine would be as useless as there was no fixed login logout hours.
Yes, the biggest hurdle I faced was ‘My Great Expectations’ . How did I overcome? I stopped expecting! Expectation led to despair and demotivation every time I did not pass an exam. After every failure I used to sulk and waste time . I wasted time waiting for result and got nothing but time loss. Consistency and Hard work along with a cool mind is the key !
PRACTICEMOCK has helped me face actual exam level questions as well as questions of higher order. The CA section in every mock and quiz is commendable as I got many common questions from the mocks itself! The UI is also very smooth and user friendly (both mobile app and web app).
“Smooth seas never made a good sailor”— this journey of PRE+ MAINS + INTERVIEW will make you ready for lifetime. Your temperament is built in the preparation phase . Consistency and hard work is a must , however brilliant you may be. GOOD LUCK!
