Overall Strategy, Study Schedule & Challenges Faced
I did not plan any strategy in the beginning as I I didn’t have anyone to guide me. But I can suggest a schedule which can help other aspirants . Do basics of maths, English and reasoning initially. Start giving mocks within 1 month of preparation whether you have completed your syllabus or not. You must complete your syllabus of these subjects within 2.5-3 months. Then start revising and practicing. Then start ga and computer Give as much as possible. Give few mains mocks also before prelims. Don’t separate prelims and mains. Prepare for them simultaneously Don’t lose hope.
Mocks strategy
- Start with easy mocks like testbook and then shift to tough ones like PM to give a boost to your preparation.
- Don’t go on marks.
- Just give mocks and solve questions which you couldn’t solve during mock.
- If you are finding difficulty with any particular topic, do it again
- If you have time management problem, give sectional mocks
- Leave difficult questions during mock and just go on to other questions.
- If you have accuracy problem, focus on that even on cost of attempts. You will definitely improve by this way.
I’m also doing my post graduation right now. So it was hectic to manage both things together
How did PracticeMock help you?
Yes, I followed practicemock after getting a certain level of confidence. PracticeMock’s mocks are above the level of actual exam. So if one can score good in it, she will definitely do good in exams. It also prepares us for unexpected pattern.
