I started preparing for bank exams in 2019 with my teaching job. I cleared every pre i gave in 2019 but due to lack of guidance and time, i failed in mains. In 2020, i cleared some pre due to which i became fearful and my confidence decreased due to which i could not clear mains that year too. But in 2021, i left my job and in lockdown i dedicated my entire time to preparation. In 2021 , i changed my test series and adopted practicemock. This has been the life changer for me and i cleared ibps po and clerk both this year.

Which exams did you appear in till date and what were their results

I gave all exam conducted by ibps. I cleared pre of all ibps po, clerk, rrb clerk, sbi clerk in 2019 and in 2020 too. In 2021, i cleared sbi clerk, ibps clerk and ibps po pre and ibps po mains and clerk mains too.

I totally relied on tesst of practicemock. Apart from those, i watched english documentaries on youtube to improve my english comprehension. I used to write vocabs daily and revise them on weekly basis.

For quant, firstly i cleared all the chapters through YouTube videos and then practiced by giving mocks of practicemock.

Reasoning Section Preparation Strategy

Reasoning was a game changer for me as i scored only 9 marks in my first ibps po mains. I had to improve it so i gave mains level mocks of practicemock and solved each puzzle with full dedication. I didn’t follow any teacher for reasoning and puzzles. I made my own shortcuts for puzzlespuzzles and scored 25+ in mains.

General Awareness Section Preparation Strategy

I failed in 2019 and 2020 mains because i focussed too much on general awareness after the pre results came. But in 2021, i changed my strategy and focussed on other three subjects more. For general awareness, i used to study monthly pdfs only.

Overall Strategy, Study Schedule & Challenges Faced

I was very stern for dedicating 7-8 hours everyday to my studies. I followed a flexible timetable as fixed timetable is hard to follow each day. I faced personal problems a lot. In 2019 and 2020 i couldn’t clear exams due to my job. I used to teach civil engineering to btech students. And in 2022, i loved a guy and dreamt of marrying him but 1 month before my exam he ended it all and i was very shattered but i collected myself and came out of it . I dedicated myself completely to my studies after it.
