We are bringing to you the success story of Atul Wasekar who cleared IBPS PO & SBI Clerk back to back. Let’s hear what he has to say about his success:
I started in August 2021. Initially I couldn’t clear exams, not even prelims. So upto August 2022 I couldn’t clear any exams. But once I cleared RRB PO prelims, there is not stopping. I would say it is a collective effort from me. After every attempt, I analysed what is going wrong? What I need to correct. And made changes in each and every attempt that I gave.
I appeared in all the banking exams and I am selected in IBPS PO and SBI Clerk.
I learned English from Nimisha Bansal Mam. Her Perfection Series is more than enough for me to get good marks. In addition to that, I read English self help books to improve English.
I learned Quant From Aashish Arora Sir. And practiced it from his checklist and sectional mock test.
I gave sectional mocks and try to solve as many puzzles as I can.
I used to watch Kapil Kathpal sir’s current affairs classes daily and Read Affairscloud’s pdf.

I followed a schedule. Initially, focus was on completing the basics. Initially, I gave 3 hours each to Quant and Reasoning, 2 hours to English and 1 hour to General Awareness. Once I completed the syllabus, I just gave sectional mock for practice. So I reduced the time of Quant and Reasoning and in available time, I completed the banking awareness. After that, just giving mock test and doing analysis of that mock test. For General Awareness, I studied daily and revised it on weekly.
Yes. I couldn’t clear exams initially. So, After that I analysed and found that I have to give importance to each and every subjects. That’s help me to clear exam. So, I studied every subject simultaneously. Try to avoid guess work. Try to maintain accuracy. Even if I attempt less, I made sure whatever I attempt, attempt with at least 90% accuracy.
Yes. I got exam level questions from PracticeMock. The level of questions and framing of questions is very good. I think after preparation of basics, you need a good mock to get the exam level feeling, specially in the mains where you have to be selective with the attempts. I think the mock tests, specially mains mock test provide me that.
My advise to all the aspirants is that, believe in yourself, when no one is believing in you. Don’t blindly follow any others stretegy, because everyone is different and their strengths and weaknesses are different. Make your own strategy. Listen others strategy, see what is best for you from their strategy and apply on yourself. And don’t be panic with the failures, Just learn from them and move to the next exam, but make sure you don’t commit the same mistake again.
