Akash Pardhe’s Success Story
When I entered into competitive exams I was preparing for all kind of exams like SSC,AAI,RRB,BANKING. Soon I understood this strategy won’t work for me. Then I went for my field which I like the most. I started my Banking Journey in March 2019.
Which exams did you appear in till date
Since March 2019 I appeared for all Banking Exams. In last attempt I missed many exams by few marks. Like SBI by 7 marks, IBPS RRB CLERK by 1 mark, IBPS CLERK by 1.5 marks, IDBI PO Mains by 1 mark.
Section-wise Preparation Strategy
English Section Preparation Strategy
First I went through important rules which was covered by Vishal Sir, then I gave only sectional test and mocks. And continuous reading is must.
Quantitative Aptitude Section Preparation Strategy
Quant is my major subject since childhood. First I went through R S Agrawal book for revision of all concepts then I solved mocks only which is a best source for the variety of questions.
Reasoning Section Preparation Strategy
Reasoning is also the major subject of mine. I just gave mocks and that’s it. But for increasing speed you must solve at least 5 puzzles a day with a stopwatch.
General Awareness Section Preparation Strategy
I had three mains exams lined up in a row, IBPS RRB PO, SBI JA and IBPS RRB CLERK. So I started preparing for GA from my first pre exam. I gone through Affairs cloud monthly pdf and PM monthly MCQ with all OB and PM mocks MCQ. And multiple revision is must for this section.
Overall Strategy, Study Schedule & Challenges Faced
First I cleared all basic concepts of all sections. The thing which escalated my speed and Strengthen my concepts is Mocks of PM and OB. I gave daily 1 pre mock and weekly 2 mains mocks.
2021 gave me both Good and Bad memories. Missed exams by few marks and then Covid in our Home. When I was giving pre exams of SBI, RRB PO/CLERK I was in hospital for my Dad’s covid treatment and during Mains I was admitted in hospital due to dengue so not had much time to prepare but I had a very strong dedication and will power that I can do it. Though my body was not in a condition but my mindset was so strong and I made it for my Family which is most important for me. If I can do it through all this problems then why you can’t!! Just Believe in yourself.

How did PracticeMock help you?
Yes PM and OB both helped me alot. I practiced monthly MCQ of PM which was too important from exam point of view and Mocks of both PM and OB match with the exact exam level.

Message for the Fellow Aspirants
Now everyone knows how banks are changing their pattern and the level of difficulty. For that MOCKS is the only option. Remember, The more you Practice The more you learn. Also be with that one Real Best Friend who will motivate you throughout your journey. I have that one. She was always there whenever I needed help mentally or emotionally. She used to send me photos and asked me to chose one for uploading during my exam period. That was the fun part. Actually what I want to say is find the one best friend who will be happy for your success and motivate you during hard time. Because some people can’t be motivated for long time, they need external support. Best of luck for your future😊
