SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2024
According to the SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2024, the paper 1 exam consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) which are conducted through online mode. The SSC MTS paper 1 includes 2 sessions, in which session 1 consists of 2 subjects i.e Numerical and Mathematical Ability & Reasoning Ability, and Problem-Solving whereas session 2 consists of General Awareness & English Language and Comprehension. Paper 1 consists of 270 marks. The candidates who qualify for the Paper 1 (CBT) exam can only qualify for the next stage i.e. Paper- 2 Physical Standard Test & Physical Efficiency Test (PST/PET).

The SSC MTS Exam Pattern Paper 1 consists of 2 sessions. - The SSC MTS is based on Multiple Type Questions.
- The SSC MTS Paper 1 exam consists of 90 Questions for a total of 270 marks.
- The total time duration for the SSC MTS exam is 45 minutes for each session.
- There is no negative marking for Session 1 but for Session 2, 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2024 For PET/PST
The candidate who has qualified for the paper-1 stage can be only eligible for the Physical standard test/ Physical Efficiency Test i.e. Paper 2 of the SSC MTS 2024 exam. These exams are conducted to check the physical ability or efficiency of the candidate. It is mandatory for candidates who have qualified for the paper 1 exam.
