  • Ratio and Proportion

This topic is very important as it is used as a basis for other topics like Profit and Loss, Simple Interest and Compound Interest,  Mixture & Alligation, Time Work and Age, Time, Speed and Distance, and Percentage. If you are really good at handling ratio and proportion then it becomes easy for you to solve other topics also which we have mentioned above.

  • Geometry

Geometry is an extensive subject as it has many sub-disciplines like triangle, circle, ellipse, parabola, etc. Don’t panic, as we have to focus only on those topics that are asked in the SSC MTS Exam. 1 or 2 questions are asked from the triangle, so focus on them. In Geometry, questions from other topics are generally not asked in the SSC MTS Exam, so once you have completed your syllabus and have some time to spare, go for other topics in Geometry.

  •  Mensuration

For most students, this subject is very challenging. For this topic, only practice questions are asked in the CPO, GD Constable, CGL, & CHSL papers, as there are chances of repetition of questions in your exam. You can practice from NCERT books and prepare your basics.

  • Data interpretation

One or two very easy questions are asked about this topic and you can easily master this topic. Solve previous year’s questions and you will find how easy they are.

  • Profit & Loss

They are mostly formula based. 2 to 3 questions are asked on this topic, and you just need to learn the formulas.

  • Note down the questions that come every year or prepare for them diligently.
