SSC MTS 2023 Eligibility

Nationality/Citizenship

A candidate must be either:

(a) a citizen of India, or

(b) a subject of Nepal, or

(c) a subject of Bhutan, or

(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st of January 1962, to permanently settle in India, or

(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d), and (e) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the Examination but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India.Note I: Candidate should note that Date of Birth as recorded in the Matriculation / Secondary Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate available on the date of submission of application will only be accepted by the Commission for determining the Age- eligibility and no subsequent request for its change will be considered or granted.

SSC MTS 2023 Educational Qualification

1. The candidates must have passed matriculation (10th Pass) or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
2. In case a candidate does not pass the qualifying examination before the closing date of receipt of the application form, he or she is not permitted to apply.

SSC MTS 2023 Age Limit

Here is the SSC MTS 2023 Age limit for SSC MTS 2023 Notification.

• A candidate must be 18-25 years (for MTS and Havaldar in CBN).
• A candidate must be 18-27 years (for Havaldar in CBIC and few posts of MTS )
• The crucial date for calculating the age limit is 01st August 2023.
• Apart from the pre-mentioned Age Requirement, candidates belonging to reserved categories are given age relaxation as per Government Rules.

SSC MTS 2023 Selection Process

This year SSC has changed the SSC MTS Selection Process. According to the revised selection process, the selection of candidates will be done based on Paper 1 only followed by PET/PST and Document Verification.
