The application fee payable is Rs 100. But the Women candidates and candidates who belong to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of the fee.
Candidates are recommended to submit online applications much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/ inability or failure to login to the SSC website on account of heavy load on the website during the closing days.
The SSC MTS Exam 2022 will consist of 2 papers 0r exams-Paper 1 & Paper 2. Paper 1 will be a multiple-choice question whereas Paper 2 would be a descriptive test. Paper 1 will be a computer-based test consisting of 100 questions of 100 marks and of 90 minutes duration. Paper 2 will be of 50 marks descriptive type questions to be completed within 30 minutes. ¼ marks would be deducted for each incorrect attempt as per the negative marking scheme.
