SSC JE 2025 Online Application Structure

If you want to apply for SSC JE 2025, you need to follow two steps:

  1. One-Time Registration
  2. Online Application Form

One-Time Registration: This is the first step to apply for the SSC JE 2025. You need to register yourself on the official website of SSC @ssc.gov.in by clicking on ‘Register Now’ in the Login section. Before you start the registration process, make sure you have the following documents ready:

  • A valid Mobile Number/Email ID will be verified through OTP.
  • Your Aadhaar Number or Aadhaar Enrollment Number as ID proof.

If you don’t have an Aadhaar card, you can use any of these documents as ID proof:

  • Voter ID Card or Elector ID Card
  • PAN Card
  • Passport

  • Employer ID (Govt/PSU/Private)

You need to fill in all the required details correctly and carefully in the One-Time Registration form, such as:

  • Basic details like Name, Date of Birth, Matriculation Exam details, etc.
  • Additional details like Category, Nationality, visible identification mark, etc.
  • Contact details.
  • Photo, Signature, and LTI.

Online Application Form: After completing the One-Time Registration process, you can log in to the online portal of SSC JE 2025 with your registered Email ID and password. Then you need to click on the ‘Apply Link’ for the ‘Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Quantity Surveying and Contracts) Examination 2025’ under the ‘Latest Notifications’ tab.

SSC JE 2025 Nationality

You can apply for SSC JE 2025 if you are a citizen of any of the following regions. You must fulfill at least one of the following criteria of nationality as per the SSC JE 2025 Notification:

  • A citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Bhutan, or
  • A subject of Nepal, or
  • A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962, intending to live in India forever, or
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Malawi, Ethiopia, Zaire, Zambia, and Vietnam, intending to settle in India permanently.

SSC JE 2025 Selection Process

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC Junior Engineer (JE) selection process in its official notification. The SSC JE 2025 Selection process has three stages:

  • Stage 1: SSC JE 2025 Paper 1 Exam

SSC JE Syllabus 2025: Tier 2

The Tier 2 syllabus for SSC JE will be based on the candidate’s discipline, which will match the Tier 1 syllabus. The questions will require descriptive answers instead of multiple choices. There is no penalty for wrong answers in the SSC JE 2025 Tier 2 Exam.

SSC JE Cutoff 2025

The cutoff marks are the minimum marks needed to pass the exam. Candidates must score equal or higher than the cutoff marks to qualify for the next stage. The SSC JE cut-off is determined by various factors that affect the selection of the candidates. You must note that the SSC Junior Engineer cut-off is released for Paper 1 and Paper 1+2 (combined).

  • The total number of candidates who have appeared for the exam for SSC JE.
  • The category of the candidates (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD/Ex-Servicemen) is considered while preparing the cut-off marks for SSC JE, which is followed by SSC for the SSC Junior Engineer exam.
  • The difficulty level of the exam.
  • If the SSC JE 2025 exam is conducted in multiple shifts, then the normalization of marks will be followed by SSC.
  • The total number of vacancies is as per the category of the candidates.
  • The trend of the previous year cut off marks of the SSC JE.
