SSC GD Physical Test 2024 Overview

SSC GD Constable Selection Process comprises of multiple rounds Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standards Test (PST), and Medical Examination. SSC GD Physical Date 2024

Candidates will be informed regarding the SSC GD Physical Date 2024 by releasing an information notice on the official website. The SSC GD Physical Test will be conducted from 23rd September to 9th November 2024. Confirmed Dates of PST/PET tests has been released. SSC GD Physical Standard Test

The objective behind conducting SSC GD Physical Tests know male and female abilities in performing physical tasks assigned to them as per their job profile. Shortlisted candidates have to meet the necessary physical requirements. SSC decided female and male candidates separate Physical Standard Test requirements. Male Candidates have to meet height and chest measurement requirements. Female candidates are required to meet only height measurement requirements. Reserved Category are eligible to get relaxations in chest and height measurement criteria in SSC GD Physical Test 2024.

SSC GD Physical Standard Test for Males

Shortlisted Male Candidates after the online exam have to appear in the SSC Physical Standard Test. They have to meet requirements in height and chest measurements. General, the SC & OBC category required height is 170 cm and the chest is 80 cm/5. For candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes category height requirement is 162.5 cm and the chest is 76 cm/5. SSC GD Physical Standard Test for Females

Female Candidates participating in the SSC GD Physical Standard Test are required to meet only height criteria. There are no chest measurements needed for females. General, OBC & SC category females’ required height should be 157 cm. Females of the Scheduled Tribe category should meet 150 cm of height measurements to qualify for the Physical Standard Test for Constable Posts. SSC GD Physical Efficiency Test

Staff Selection Commission conducts the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) separately for female and male candidates. It is conducted after the Physical Standard Test. Candidates are required to do a running task and complete it within the prescribed time limit mentioned in the SSC GD Physical Test. After qualifying PST Selection Process, Shortlisted Candidates have to take the PET Test. SSC GD Physical Date 2024 will be provided on the official website. Female Candidates who are coming from other hand Ladakh Region have to perform a running task of 1.6 km in 8.5 minutes. They finish running tasks within time to qualify PET test. Male Candidates who are appearing in the SSC GD Physical Efficiency Test need to perform running tasks within the required time. Ladakh Region Candidates get 7 minutes to complete 1.6 km of running. On the other hand, Candidates other than Ladakh Region get 24 minutes for 5 km running. SSC provides intimation on the SSC GD Physical Date to candidates by releasing notice on the official website.
