Registration Process

1. Visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission.

3. Log in using the username and password created during the registration process.
4. Click on the ‘Apply’ tab presented under quick links.

SSC GD Constable 2025 Eligibility Criteria Nationality

Candidates must be citizens of India. Additionally, candidates who fall under any of the following categories are also eligible to apply:

• The subject of Nepal or Bhutan: Candidates who are subjects of Nepal or Bhutan are eligible to apply for the SSC GD Constable exam.
• Tibetan Refugee: Candidates who are Tibetan refugees and came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India are eligible to apply for the exam.
• Person of Indian Origin (PIO): Candidates who are of Indian origin and have migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam intending to permanently settle in India are eligible to apply for the SSC GD Constable exam.

The SSC GD Constable 2025 Selection Process consists of four stages: Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and the Medical Test. Before preparing for the exam, understanding the SSC GD Constable 2025 Exam Pattern is very important. The SSC GD Constable 2025 Exam consists of four sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and English/Hindi. Each section consists of 20 questions. There are 80 questions in the exam which candidates are required to attempt in 60 minutes.

SSC GD Constable 2025 Physical Efficiency Test

Candidates who will clear Paper 1 will be eligible to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The efficiency will be measured by the race. There is a limit set for candidates who belong to the Ladakh region and for candidates who don’t belong to the Ladakh region.
