The difficulty of the SSC CPO exam depends on various factors, such as the level of preparation, the number of candidates, the cut-off marks, and the syllabus. Generally, the exam is considered to be moderately difficult, but not impossible to crack. Candidates who have a good command of the subjects, practice regularly, and manage their time well can score well in the exam. However, candidates who are weak in certain areas, lack proper guidance, or face high competition may find the exam challenging. Therefore, it is advisable to prepare well and follow a smart strategy to ace the exam.
Final selection and allocation of Post/Force will be made on the basis of the performance of candidates in Paper-I and Paper-II (including bonus marks in case of NCC certificate) and the preference of Posts/Forces exercised by them.
SSC CPO and SSC CGL are two competitive exams conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for various posts in the central government. Both exams have different eligibility criteria, syllabus, exam pattern and difficulty level. Therefore, it is not easy to compare them and say which one is tougher than the other. However, some general factors that may affect the difficulty level of these exams are:
– The number of applicants: SSC CGL attracts more applicants than SSC CPO, which means more competition and higher cut-off marks.
– The level of questions: SSC CPO has more questions on general awareness and reasoning, while SSC CGL has more questions on quantitative aptitude and English comprehension. Depending on the candidate’s strengths and weaknesses, these sections may be easier or harder to attempt.
– The physical standards: SSC CPO requires candidates to meet certain physical standards and undergo a physical endurance test (PET), which may be challenging for some candidates. SSC CGL does not have any such requirement.
Therefore, the answer to the question of which exam is tougher than the other may vary from person to person, depending on their preparation level, aptitude and preference. It is advisable to focus on one’s own strengths and weaknesses and prepare accordingly for both exams.
