SSC CPO 2023 Paper-1 – Detailed Syllabus

Paper-I Syllabus

Paper-I is an online objective test that consists of 200 questions for 200 marks. The duration of the test is 2 hours. The questions are divided into four sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension. Each section has 50 questions for 50 marks. There is a negative marking of 0.33 mark for each wrong answer.

This section tests your general awareness and current affairs knowledge. The topics covered are:

• Triangle, Quadrilaterals, Regular Polygons , Circle, Right Prism, Right Circular Cone, Right Circular Cylinder, Sphere, Hemispheres, Rectangular Parallelepiped, Regular Right Pyramid with triangular or square base 
• Trigonometric ratio, Degree and Radian Measures, Standard Identities, Complementary angles, Heights and Distances 
• Histogram, Frequency polygon, Bar diagram & Pie chart etc.

English Comprehension

This section tests your ability to understand and use correct English language. The topics covered are:
