Given below is the list of allowances that the employees enjoy along with the basic pay or salary while working:
House rent allowance will vary according to the city one is living in. It is classified into 3 categories. HRA shall not be less than Rs. 5400/- pm, Rs. 3600/- pm, and Rs.1800/- pm at X, Y & Z class cities respectively. The HRA given to X, Y & Z categories of cities is as follows:
The transport allowance will be given to cater to the daily traveling needs of the employee. Plus, those Employees will get posted in the cities will get Rs.3600 as TA, whereas those posted at all other places will get Rs.1800 as TA.
It will be 31% of Basic Pay under the 7th Pay Commission. The DA has been increased by the union cabinet to 31% in 2021. The Dearness Allowance is a cost of living adjustment allowance.
The leave travel concession is the allowance that will be given to the Central Government employees for traveling to their hometown or other parts of the country.
