Nationality
The candidate must be
- An Indian citizen
- Or, a subject of Nepal, Bhutan
- Or migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Educational Qualification
- For Data Entry Operator (DEO)/ DEO Grade ‘A’:
- 12th Standard pass in Science streams with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
- For all other posts, a candidate must have passed the 12th Standard from a recognized board.
Age Limit
The age limit for SSC CHSL is 18 -27 years. There is age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD and other categories as per the constitution.
