SSC CGL TIER 1 EXAM PATTERN 2024

The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam pattern has four sections: General Intelligence & Reasoning, English Language & Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness. The exam will be conducted online with a total of 200 marks for 100 questions. The exam lasts for 60 minutes, or one hour. There is no sectional time limit for the Tier 1 exam.

The SSC CGL Tier-2 exam will be conducted in 3 phases – Paper 1, Paper 2, and Paper 3.

  • Paper-II for candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation

SSC CPO EXAM PATTERN 2024

Candidates must clear three phases of the SSC CPO test. After that, they must pass a medical test to be considered for positions in the Delhi Police, CAPFs, and CISFs, among others. The first phase is an objective multiple-choice question paper. The second phase will consist of an objective-based English comprehension test. The third phase is a PET/PST Test, which assesses the candidate’s endurance.

There is a negative marking scheme, which means that every incorrect response results in a deduction of one-third, or 0.25, of the marks allotted to that question. The exam pattern is as follows:

SSC CPO Physical Standard Test (PST & PET)

The qualification requirements for the SSC CPO PET test are a bit different between male and female candidates. The PET exam pattern is as follows:

  • Shot Put 16 Lbs.: 5 meters in 3 chances
  • High Jump: 2 meters in 3 chances
  • Long Jump: 65 meters in 5 chances
  • 6 km race: In 6.5 minutes
  • 100-meter race: In 16 seconds

  • High Jump: 3 feet in 3 chances or 0.9 meters
  • Long Jump: 9 feet in 3 chances or 2.7 meters

Paper-II

The SSC CPO Paper-II is scheduled following the conclusion of the PET test. The details of the exam pattern are provided below.

  • The exam will consist of two subjects: English Language and Comprehension, and it will be administered online.
  • There will be 200 questions, with each question carrying one mark. As a result, the total number of marks will be 200.
  • The exam lasts two hours.

SSC CPO Medical Criteria

  • Minimum Near Vision: N6 (better eye) and N9 (worse eye)
  • Eye standards should be without any vision correction, including glasses.
  • Must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein, or squint in eyes
  • Minimum Distant Vision: 6/6 (better eye) and 6/9 (worse eye)
