How to Apply SSC CGL 2025?

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2025 exam notification on April 22, 2025. The online application process will commence on the same day and conclude on May 21, 2025. To register for the SSC CGL 2025 exam, follow these steps:

1. Visit the Official SSC Website: Go to ssc.gov.in.
2. Complete One-Time Registration (OTR):
   • Click on the “Register Now” link under the “Login” section.
   • Provide your details, such as Aadhaar Number, Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, and Email ID.
   • After submitting, you’ll receive a registration number and password via SMS and email.
3. Fill Out the Application Form:
   • Log in using your registration number and password.
   • Navigate to the “Apply” section and select the “CGL” tab.
   • Complete the application form with your personal, educational, and other required details.
4. Upload Photograph and Signature:
   • Upload scanned images of your passport-sized photograph and signature as per the specified guidelines.
5. Pay the Application Fee:
   • The application fee is ₹100 for General and OBC male candidates.
   • Female candidates and those belonging to SC, ST, PwD, and Ex-Servicemen categories are exempted from paying the fee.
   • Fees can be paid online via BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or through credit/debit cards. Offline payment can be made in cash at designated SBI branches by generating a challan.
6. Submit the Application:

   • It’s advisable to print or save a copy of the submitted application for future reference.

SSC CGL 2025 One-Time Registration

The SSC CGL 2025 one-time registration process is mandatory for those candidates who do not have registered on the SSC official website yet. This process will provide them with a one-time registration number required to log in to the website. Without this process, you will not be able to fill out the SSC CGL 2025 application form.

The SSC CGL 2025 exam will be conducted in 2 stages i.e. Tier 1 & Tier 2. The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam includes 4 sections, namely General Intelligence & Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General English & General Awareness. SSC CGL Tier 1 includes 100 questions for 200 marks (2 marks each). For every incorrect answer, a 0.50 mark will be deducted as a penalty. There will be the composite timings i.e. 60 minutes.
