SSC is holding the exam for pay scare level 4 to level 8 in order to fill up various Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts in different Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations of the Government of India and various Constitutional Bodies/ Statutory Bodies/ Tribunals, etc. The schedule for the examination is given below:

  • Tier I comprise only objective questions.
  • In Tier II, Paper I  Session II there will be a skill test.
    • The skill test includes a Data Entry Skill Test (DEST) or Computer Proficiency Test (CPT), 
    • The document verification process includes verifying the eligibility criteria, educational qualifications, and other details provided by the candidate.

  • Marks scored by candidates in Computer Based Examinations, if conducted in multiple shifts, will be normalized by using the formula published by the Commission.
  • Tentative Answer Keys for the Computer Based Examinations will be placed on the website of the Commission after the Examination. Candidates may go through the Answer Keys and submit online representations, if any, within the stipulated time limit on payment of ₹ 100/- per question, which is non-refundable.
