SSC CGL 2024 Tier 1: Most Scoring Topics For Reasoning: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct the SSC CGL Exam 2024 from 9th September to 26th September 2024. There are four sections included in the SSC CGL 2024 Tier 1 exam: General Intelligence and Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, and English Comprehension. Most Scoring Topics For Reasoning Section

Analogy

In these questions, candidates are required to compare a general and a specific situation between two words or numbers and then select the two that have the same sort of relationship. One can answer these questions easily if he/she has practiced the relationships that may be of more often encountered types such as synonyms, antonyms, and good knowledge of vocabulary.

Classification

This includes tasks such as looking for one word, numeral, or item that does not belong to a group of words, numerals, or items. For this topic, candidates must try out problem-solving strategies where they identify patterns and discover what makes one thing unique from all the others.

Series

In this section, candidates are required to answer a question in which they have to identify the next number or letter in a sequence. Practice, recognize, pattern, mathematical, alphabetical, or visual.

Coding-Decoding

Coding decoding requires one to be given a word coded in a certain way and is supposed to find the code for another word in the same manner. Candidates can be involved in letter shifting or number coding with the use of letters or numbers to form new words.

Blood Relations

The SSC presents Blood Relation questions to check the candidate’s ability on the relationships with family members. The SSC presents questions in a tricky way for this section. One can consume his/her lot of time if he/she has not practiced the tricks related to this topic. Candidates are advised to practice by use of family trees or by use of symbols that correspond with different relations to help you in solving the questions faster.

Syllogism

Syllogism is a problem-solving technique that usually requires the determination of the truth or otherwise of conclusions based on stated facts. The SSC presents these types of questions to check the candidate’s understanding of statements. Candidates are advised to use the drawing of Venn diagrams as a way of depicting the relationships.

Seating Arrangement:

The seating arrangement is the topic in which a group of people are seated in a manner. People may be seated in a circular, straight, or any other seating arrangement. One can solve these questions efficiently only by performing a lot of practice. By continuously practicing when reading the clues, and imagining the arrangement process bit by bit.
