The General Awareness Section of SSC CGL Exam is one of the most important parts of the test. It covers a wide range of topics such as current affairs, history, geography, polity, economy, science and technology, and general knowledge. The section aims to test the candidates’ awareness of the world around them and their ability to apply their knowledge in various situations. The section consists of 25 questions, each carrying 2 marks, and has a negative marking of 0.5 for each wrong answer. The section has a duration of 15 minutes and requires a good strategy and practice to score well.
