SIDBI Grade A Preparation Strategy for General Awareness

General Awareness is also one of the most important scoring sections of the SIDBI Grade A exam. This section can be a game-changer for you. You can easily score 40+ in this section if you’ll cover the Current Affairs of the last 6 months. As the General Awareness section consists of 50 questions, it becomes important to understand the need to excel to boost the overall score.

The questions that come in the exam can be divided into 4 major categories given below:

1. Banking and Financial sector

This category attracts the maximum number of questions in the GA section of the online exam. The questions asked can be further divided into 2 parts:

  1. Current
  2. Static

The static questions asked are related to the current news. Therefore, you need to study the topics that are in the news. For instance, if there are any changes in rules about NBFC by RBI then the focus should be on what is NBFC, Major NBFC in India, etc. The topics in this category include:

  • SIDBI: history, functions, notifications, schemes

Be ready to face around 15-20 questions from the Banking and Financial sector.
