Hi, I am Shrey and I Started my preparation in 2019 mainly for banking exams. My journey was full of ups and down as i have done b-tech (civil) and also i am from middle class family. I have appeared countless exams till date. In the very beginning i was out in pre itself but after doing lot of practice and indulging myself in the whole process , this year i have cleared all pre except sbi po and also appeared in interview of both ibps po and rrb po but missed merit by few marks.

Section-wise Preparation Strategy

English Section Preparation Strategy

For english follow daily editorial and its vocab. Start with making notes of it and when you get yourself comfortable just try to extract the main theme out of it . It will help you in English section as well as in descriptive and also in your comprehension ability. You can try sectional mock as well . PM preferably.

Quantitative Aptitude Section Preparation Strategy

For quant first clear all your basics topic wise and then do questions related to them same day. Make calculations in mind itself. Try to have good hands on some topics of your own interest. First work on accuracy and then speed will automatically come. Just practice a lot.

Reasoning Section Preparation Strategy

For reasoning practice puzzle as much as you can in initial stages . Miscellaneous portion is comparatively easy in exams. Sectional mock daily from any source preferred.

General Awareness Section Preparation Strategy

For GA you really have to work hard because pattern now a days which is trending is unpredictable. I followed one video source and quizzes affairs cloud pdf +exam oriented pdfs. PM GA quizzes on weekly basis can also be helpful.

Overall Strategy, Study Schedule & Challenges Faced

I had daily targets in my preparation days . Its not about giving 10-12 hrs its about to complete daily tasks like i used to daily watch CA and editorial on youtube .After clearing my basics i used to give mocks on different platforms and analyze them properly. Give only 1-2 but analysis is important . For mains firstly i started on weekend basis and then shifted to 3 days rotation.

During preparation days , you will face many challenges but you have to be strong and later you will realize that they are for good, they are to shape you and prepare you for upcoming phases of life. Just keep faith on yourself, you can do it.
