General Awareness is one section where there is no limit when it comes to the syllabus. The examiner can ask anything under the sun and you are expected to answer them. However, the best part about this section is that on many occasions this section can be a differentiating factor between those who clear this exam and those who couldn’t. Hence, it is important that you make the most use of the extended time you have got in revising this section. You may choose to follow the below-mentioned guidelines for revising this section.

  • Revise with the help of Weekly Current Affairs PDFs and don’t miss any important update on current affairs.
  • Keep taking Current Affairs Quizzes and make a note of the questions you answered incorrectly or you were unaware.
  • You may also choose to refer books on General Awareness by Arihant Publishers. The reason we are asking you to refer this is because they usually cover questions on themes that can be asked in SEBI Grade A Exam 2022.
  • Please note that while revising this section, your focus should be more on covering the last 6 months current/static affairs, including the Budget 2022. When you read about the budget, you should spend time on learning the important facts and figures pertaining to the schemes announced.
  • Continue with reading at least two newspaper daily, of which one should be a financial newspaper. You can refer to any financial newspaper as per your choice. You don’t have to read each and every news reports and article but only the important ones. Hence, spending about 15-20 minutes on each newspaper daily is sufficient.
  • You should also read a current affairs magazines like the Chronicle, Wizard or CST. Again, we do not want you to read each and every reports and article but the recent 4-5 issues covered in the magazine.
  • Start watching new for about 15 minutes every day with an eye on the important national and international updates. If you ain’t doing it already, start this. It will help you to be aware of the current happening across the globe.
  • Finally, continue to take a mock test pertaining to this sections every day as it will not only help you in gaining confidence for the exam but also make you aware of current/recent happening in the world.
