The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) every year conducts an exam for the recruitment of the Grade A Assistant Manager. SEBI is a regulatory body for India’s security and commodity market that falls under the Ministry of Finance under the Government of India. The minimum educational qualification of the candidates depends on the stream they are applying for.
The age limit for the post is 30 years as on a specified date. There is a relaxation of the age limit for candidates belonging to different categories, such as SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwBD (10-15 years), Ex-Servicemen (5 years), etc.
The candidate must be a citizen of India or a Subject of Bhutan or Nepal.
SEBI Grade A Officer Exam is conducted in two phases namely Phase I, Phase II and Phase III. Phase I consists of objective type questions while Phase II consists of both objective and descriptive type questions.

Candidates who successfully clear the Phase II exam will be eligible for the internview.

The initial pay scale for SEBI Grade A Officer was revised from Rs, 28,150/- to Rs. 44,500/.
The salary at the time of joining is Rs. 19,900 per month. The candidates who are selected for the SEBI Grade A officer get a handsome salary along with attractive perks. The salary structure ranges from Rs. 1,07,000 without accommodation and Rs. 73,000 with accommodation.
