The SBI SO (Specialist Officer) Exam is conducted every year by the State Bank of India. The Exam is conducted to recruit Specialist Officers in various Specialized Categories like IT officers, Managers & Deputy Managers, Finance Officers, Senior Executives, Team lead – Support, Networking Systems Manager, Operations Managers, etc. within the bank. The Selection process of the eligible candidates is based on the marks obtained in the Online Examination and the Interview.
Online Examination for the SBI SO consists of 2 papers. Paper 1 (General Aptitude) and Paper 2 (Professional Knowledge). Where Paper 1 is qualifying, and Paper 2 Marks are counted in the final result.
The SBI SO Paper 1 (General Aptitude) consists of Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language sections, with a total of 120 questions, and the time duration is 90 minutes. Paper 2 (Professional Knowledge) has 75 questions, and the time duration is 70 minutes.
SBI SO Online Examination Papers 1 and 2 are generally conducted on the same day. They are typically held in a single shift, one after the other.
Both papers in the Online Examination are in English and Hindi, both languages.
