The SBI PO Selection Process 2024 consists of mainly three main stages Prelims, Mains, and Interview. Every candidate who wants to be selected as a Probationary Officer must go through all the stages. To pass these stages, they must know the all stages of the SBI PO 2024 Selection Process in detail. SBI PO Selection Process 2024, Prelims

The first stage of the SBI PO Selection Process 2024 is the Prelims exam. Every candidate who fills up the form successfully becomes eligible to appear in the SBI PO Prelims Exam. The prelims exam consists of a total of 100 questions for 100 marks and candidates will get a total of 60 minutes to attempt the exam. SBI PO Selection Process 2024, Mains

The SBI PO Mains exam is the second stage of the SBI PO Selection Process 2024. Candidates who will pass the SBI PO prelims exam will be eligible to appear in the SBI PO mains exam. The SBI PO Mains exam consists of a total of 157 questions of which 155 questions are objective and 2 questions are descriptive. The total time duration to attempt the SBI PO Mains exam is 3.5 hours. SBI PO Mains (Objective Test)

Candidates will get a total of 3 hours to attempt the objective test. The objective paper consists of 4 sections and a total of 200 marks. There is a sectional timing for all subjects.

Penalty for wrong answer: A candidate will lose 0.25 marks for every wrong attempt in the SBI PO Mains objective paper as well. However, no deduction will be there if a question is left unattempted by candidates.

SBI PO Mains (Descriptive Test)

For SBI PO Mains, Descriptive Test candidates will get a total of 30 minutes to attempt 2 questions. These two questions contain 50 marks for the test English Language (Letter Writing & Essay).

SBI PO Group Discussion & Interview 2024 

This is the last stage of the SBI PO Selection Process 2024. Candidates who will pass the SBI PO 2024 Mains exam will be eligible to appear in the Interview round. This stage mainly consists of a Psychometric test, Group Exercise/Discussion, and Personal Interview. Below we have provided the weightage of the stage in a table format.

1. Printout of the SBI PO Interview Call Letter

4. Proof of Identity (Valid Government-issued ID)

  • A valid photo ID, such as:
    • Aadhaar Card
    • Voter ID
    • Passport
    • Driving License
    • PAN Card
    • Employee ID (if applicable)
  • Ensure that the ID is government-issued and valid.

6. Birth certificate or 10th-grade certificate

7. Educational Qualifications Documents:

  • Mark sheets and certificates of 10th, 12th, and Graduation.
    • The degree certificate for candidates who have completed their graduation.
    • Provisional certificate (if the original degree certificate is not yet issued).
  • Candidates from Open University or distance education should provide relevant proof of validity.

8. Category Certificate (if applicable):

  • SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate issued by a competent authority.
    • For OBC candidates, the certificate should be issued in the latest financial year to be considered valid.
    • EWS (Economically Weaker Section) Certificate (if applicable), issued by a competent authority in the prescribed format.
