SBI PO Revision- Less Time Left for Mains Revision

SBI PO 2021 Mains is scheduled to take place sometime in the month of December 2021 or January 2022. This leaves you with hardly 10-20 days for your revision. You need to utilize each and every hour of these remaining days very carefully while doing SBI PO Revision. You need to stay 1 step ahead of other candidates by clearing all the concepts of all the topics in SBI PO Mains’ Syllabus. Think only of practising questions on the topics for the remaining days. SBI PO Revision- Tips

  • Dedicate at least 8-9 hours towards the revision of different sections in these remaining days.
  • Give equal importance to all the sections while revising. However, focus more on the weak topics in a section.
  • If you’re bored with studies, solve some random number series questions or revise some fresh vocabulary.
  • Revise all the shortcuts/ tricks/ formulae of Reasoning & Computer Aptitude and Data Analysis & Interpretation on a daily basis.
  • Go through the previous years’ question papers to get an idea of which kinds of questions were asked in previous years.

SBI PO Revision- Section-wise Revision Tips

Reasoning & Computer Aptitude

  • Puzzles & Seating Arrangement questions are nearly always asked in banking exams. Make it a point to practice a puzzle per day.
  • Revise the important rules of topics like Syllogism etc.
  • Try improving your speed in easy topics like Alphanumeric Series, Blood Relations, Coding-Decoding, Direction Sense etc.
  • Pay extra attention while solving data sufficiency questions.
  • Practice reasoning quizzes on a daily basis. Only practice can help you improve your score.

Data Analysis & Interpretation

  • As the name indicates, Data Interpretation is an extremely important topic. Start practising at least 1 DI set on a daily basis.
  • Be comfortable with the concepts of averages, percentage, profit & loss and ratio & proportion. Data Interpretation & Word Problems are often based on these concepts. Sometimes even Data Sufficiency questions are based on these concepts.
  • Memorize the tables until 30 and squares until 50 & cubes until 30. This will help you with quick calculations.
  • Revise the important formulae/shortcuts/ tricks on a regular basis.
  • Keep taking mock tests and keep an eye on the score of this section. Try to improve on it.

English Language

  • Start answering 1 Reading Comprehension set on a daily basis. Review your attempts and check the questions you have answered incorrectly. Ensure that you don’t repeat the same mistake in the actual exam.
  • Keep revising vocabulary on a regular basis. A good word power will help you not only in Reading Comprehension but it will also help you in Parajumbles, Error Detection etc.
  • Revise all the grammatical rules on a regular basis.
  • Take Mock Tests on a regular basis to help you understand your strengths and weaknesses so that you can work on them accordingly.

General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness

Descriptive Test

  • Practice writing an essay and a letter on an alternate day basis.
  • Stay updated with the format of a letter.
  • Read the basics of writing an essay and check sample essays as well.
  • Keep yourself ready on the topics on which essays and letters can be asked.
