To make and develop a good strategy for the upcoming SBI PO 2022 Exam you will have to follow the following points:
Make a list of all the easy and difficult topics from the Quantitative Aptitude syllabus. To make it easy, you can create the list on the basis of the application of the formulas. The problems that can easily be solved through the formulas can be termed as easy. Whereas the topics which need a critical and analytical approach with or without the application of formulas are tough to solve, as they can be tricky.
It is important to cover all the important topics to make sure you are ready to face the often-repeated questions in the exam. Cover important topics for the SBI PO exam that we have mentioned above in the table in the beginning. Make sure you have covered topics like:
Try to solve the questions using conventional methods, at first. Then, implement your own shortcut methods to increase the speed with accuracy. See what comes out to be the best for you. But before that, you should solve the topic-wise practice questions using step-by-step formulas. Don’t try to jump straight to important steps which might confuse you later.Â
Clear the basics or the fundamentals before the exam. Most of the candidates who get good marks in the quantitative aptitude section are because they are good in it and are benefited by the maximum utilization of the basics. Avoid leaving any topic even if it seems relatively unimportant. The questions can be asked from anywhere. Revise the concepts as much as you can.
Practice different types of models and previous years’ papers. It will help you in getting an idea of the various ways the questions can be set in the upcoming exam. Be ready to face questions that can be deliberately set to confuse you to check your knowledge.
The quantitative Aptitude section is one of the lengthy and time taking sections of SBI PO. Therefore, you need to focus on both the speed and the accuracy so that you can finish all the questions within the stipulated time. Making the second guess for the answers need more time and can prove harmful, so it is better to practice answering the questions in one go and revise at the end. For instance, if any question requires lengthy calculations, you can mark it for later review and come back to it after you have solved the other questions and if time allows.
Practice and revision are the utmost essential part of any bank exam, especially when it comes to the Quants section. Practice the topics well, especially those that take more time to solve. The best way to do it is by attempting SBI PO 2022 Mock Tests. By solving the mock tests, you will get a clear idea about the difficulty level of the exam, and how you can allot minimum time to solve a particular type of question. This will test your skills and the topics you are weak in. It will help you in sharpening your skills.
Keep a balance between speed and accuracy as discussed above. Don’t forget that there is a negative marking scheme for each wrong answer in the objective tests of both Preliminary and Mains Exam of SBI PO 2022. 1/4th of the mark allotted for a certain question will be deducted for marking a wrong answer. So, be careful. Take SBI PO 2022 Mock Tests to make a good balance between the two.
