Candidates must meet the following SBI PO eligibility requirements to get Eligible for the SBI PO exam:
A candidate must be at least 21 years old and not more than 30 years old while filling up the online application for the SBI exam. Moreover, according to government regulations, there is age relaxation for some categories of candidates is as follows:

SBI has set certain conditions for Persons with Disabilities to fulfil SBI PO eligibility. As per government guidelines, vacancies are reserved for persons who are Physically Challenged under Section 33 of the RPWD Act. Candidates who are hearing impaired, Visually Impaired and orthopedically handicapped are eligible to apply for the exam.
Here are the details of SBI PO eligibility for PwD candidates are as mentioned below:
1. OH – Orthopedically Handicapped: Only those candidates with a locomotor disability or cerebral palsy with impairment of a minimum 40% fall in the following categories of the disabled are eligible to apply for SBI PO exam.
2. VI – Visually Impaired: persons suffering from any of the following conditions fulfil the SBI exam eligibility under the reserved category.
3. HI – Hearing Impaired: Hearing impairment means loss of 60 decibels or more in the better ear in the conversational range of frequencies. A person whose sense of hearing is non-functional for ordinary reasons of life. Someone who has lost the hearing ability of both ears, OR who can’t hear sounds at all even with amplified speech.
SBI provides the scribe assistance for candidates belonging to PwD categories. Any PwD candidate who is physically disabled 40% or more can avail scribe services if he desires. Such candidates are offered additional time to complete the paper. Scribe service can be availed by only those candidates who have disabilities that limit them to write, including that of speed.
In all the cases where a scribe service is availed, the following conditions will be applicable:
The total number of attempts that candidates can make for the SBI PO exam differs on the basis of one’s category. Here is a list of total attempts as per category:

Q.1 Candidates in their final year of graduation can apply for the SBI PO Exam?
Ans. Yes, students who are in their final year of graduation can also apply for SBI PO exam, provided they produce proof of having cleared their graduation at the time of SBI PO Interview round.
Q2. How many attempts are permitted for SBI PO?
Ans. The number of attempts in SBI PO is decided as per the category of the candidate. For instance, the General candidates have a maximum of 4 attempts, for OBCs and PwDs (General/OBC) it is 7 attempts. For SC/ST category candidates, there is no bar on the number of attempts until they attain the prescribed maximum age limit.

Ans. As per the latest 2022 notification, the basic SBI PO salary is approx. 41,960/-.
Q.4. Is there a sectional cut-off in SBI PO exam?

Q.5. Is there any descriptive paper in SBI PO exam?
Ans. Yes, SBI PO Mains is held in 2 parts: First is the Objective paper that tests students’ skills with questions on GK, Reasoning, Quants, English and Computer. Second one is the descriptive paper of 200 marks.
