PM: Please brief us on when did you start preparing for the competitive exams and how was your preparation journey.
PM: Which exams did you appear in till date and what were their results?
Kajal: Appeared for the below exams:
PM: How did you prepare for the English section?
Kajal: For this section, I started reading editorials on a daily basis and tried to solve each and every comprehension available in my PracticeMock package. Also attempted the sectional tests available. I tried to solve comprehensions freely available on the internet. Learning and revising vocabulary was a part of my daily routine.
PM: How did you prepare for the Quantitative Aptitude section?
Kajal: Firstly I cleared the basics and tried to solve 100+ sums of each chapter. Then I switched to sectional test available and then full-length mock tests thus checking my hand on the miscellaneous questions.
PM: How did you prepare for the Reasoning section?
Kajal: Similar to quants, in reasoning also after clearing my basics I switched to mocks (sectional + full length). I tried to solve almost all the questions of the PracticeMock available in different test series.
PM: How did you prepare for the General Awareness section?
Kajal: Prepared GA on a daily basis and then revised it from monthly pdfs.
PM: What was your overall strategy? Did you follow a study schedule? If yes, please share the details.
Kajal: I scheduled my time day-wise. Like per day I decided to devote at least 8 to 9 hrs and I devoted it on a regular basis. Even time for a particular day was also decided to be devoted to which type of concepts and questions.
PM: Did you face any hurdle as well? How did you overcome it?
Kajal: The main hurdle in my preparation was the phase of lockdown. But also it was a blessing in disguise as it gave me time to prepare without the pressure of any exam.
PM: How did PracticeMock help you?
Kajal: Mock tests of PracticeMock are totally exam-oriented, thus giving aspirants a real-time exam experience before the actual exam. It really improved my attempts in final exams and helped in understanding the need for the exams. Also, the analysis provided after the mock is really helpful as it helps to identify our weak points and thus we work on them to make our preparation more strong.
PM: What’s your message for the fellow aspirants who are preparing for competitive exams?
Kajal: I just want to say that just do your duty of studying no matter what the circumstances are as your hard work definitely going to pay you in the coming future.
