Last year it was released with an inordinate delay in November 2020 but this year the probability is quite high that it will get released either in the month of May or June 2021. It’s difficult to put a figure on how many vacancies will be there this year since the official notification isn’t out hitherto but we can definitely give you an idea of how many vacancies were there in earlier years. In the year 2020, there were 2,000 vacancies in SBI PO Notification. In the year prior to that also, there were 2,000 vacancies only. Talking about the SBI PO 2018 notification, there were the same 2,000 vacancies. So, keeping the above trend in mind, this year there will be 2,000-3,000 vacancies. We’ll update the details here once the official notification is released.

2. Educational Qualifications
All the educational qualifications mentioned should be from a University/ Institution/ Board recognised by Govt. Of India/ approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies. Those who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.08.2020.

Group Exercise and Interview is the final procedure after the Bank PO online test (including both Prelims and Mains) gets over. The results of SBI PO Mains should be out within 20-25 days after the exam and candidates can view SBI PO Scorecard to check their results. Candidates who clear Mains will be called for the interview which will be conducted by SBI in various states in their Regional offices/Local Head offices. The centre, address of the venue, time & date of Group exercise and Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter. Candidates are required to download their interview call letters from authorised SBI website.
The total marks allotted for Group Exercise (20) and Interview (30) are 50. The weightage (ratio) of Online Main Exam and interview will be 75:25 respectively. The combined final score of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the SBI PO Mains. The final merit list is arrived at after aggregating (out of 100) converted marks of Main Examination and Group Exercises & Interview. Selection will be made from the top merit ranked candidates in each category. Please note that these details are as per the 2020 notification.
