Guidelines to Upload Left-Hand Thumb Impression
- You should put your left thumb on white paper with Black/Blue Ink.
- The right thumb impression is only applicable to those candidates who do not have a left thumb.
- Your left thumb impression will be displayed on the Admit Card and wherever necessary.
- If the Applicant’s left thumb impression on the answer script, at the time of the examination, does not match the left thumb impression on the Call Letter, the Applicant will be disqualified.

SBI PO 2024 Educational Qualification
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for an interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.12.2023. Candidates having an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.12.2023. Candidates possessing qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant etc. would also be eligible.

SBI PO Notification 2024 Important Points
The SBI PO selection process has some important points that the candidates need to remember:
- Biometric Verification: The bank may use digital thumb impressions of the candidates to ensure a secure and error-free selection procedure for SBI PO Notification 2024. This is done to check the authenticity of the candidates. If the biometric verification fails, the candidate will be disqualified and may face legal action. Therefore, candidates should avoid applying any external substance like ink, Mehandi, chemicals etc. on their hands.
- Number of Attempts: The bank has fixed the maximum number of attempts for each category. Candidates who have exhausted all the attempts are not eligible to apply. The Preliminary Exam does not count as an attempt, but the Mains Exam does.

SBI PO 2024 Final Selection
The candidates will have to qualify both in Mains and Interview separately. The marks obtained in the Main Examination (Phase II), both in the Objective Test and the Descriptive Test, will be added to the marks obtained in Phase III for preparing the final merit list. The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) will not be added to preparing the final merit list for selection.

SBI PO 2024 Pre-Exam Training (PET)
The bank will arrange pre-examination training (PET) online mode for SC/ ST/ OBC/Religious Minority Community candidates in consonance with the guidelines issued by the Government of India. All eligible candidates who opt for and wish to avail of Pre-Examination Training should fill in the relevant column in the online application. An indicative list of training centres is given in the section below. The bank may add additional centres or may delete some of the centres indicated for training. Candidates opting for pre-examination training should download their call letter for training from the Bank’s website by entering their registration number and password/ date of birth. No hard copy of the call letter will be sent.
