The SBI has released a total of 14191 vacancies in its official notification of which 13735 are regular vacancies and 456 are backlog vacancies. The above vacancies are provisional and depending on the Bank’s actual requirement, the vacancies may vary. Candidates may apply for vacancies in one State/UT only. There is no provision for Inter Circle Transfer/Interstate transfer for Junior Associates to be recruited. The applicant’s candidature will be considered only against the vacancies in the State/UT for which he/she has applied/opted. The candidate may appear in the examination at any notified center. However, He/ She will have to appear for the test of the specified opted local language at a center (to be decided by the Bank) of the State applied for, at his/her own expense. Merit list will be drawn from State wise, category wise and candidates will be posted in the State for which they are applying, in the event of their selection and will not be entitled to inter-state transfer/ inter-circle transfer.
